Mompetition

Almost every mom has a friend who they think is a little too competitive.  Blogger Valerie Stone Hawthorne gives a definition of this unique competition between moms, or"Mompetition", at www.themompetition.com:

The one-up rivalry that moms play making their child seem better, smarter, and/ or more advanced than yours. May involve two or more moms and any number of children, even full-grown. "Mompetition" originally mentioned in the book Momfidence: An oreo never killed anybody and other secrets of happier parenting, by Paula Spencer 2006.

I was going to blog about "mompetition", but I think this video does it better justice. She has more videos on her blog that are just as funny.
